Complaints in the trunk and limbs
Persistent pain in your back, neck, shoulders or limbs is often complex. The cause is not always where you feel the pain; a disturbance elsewhere in the body can cause the complaints. I examine your entire body to find and treat the true source of the problem. In this way we work together towards a sustainable recovery, instead of just combating the symptoms.

The treatment process

Intake
Every treatment process starts with an extensive intake interview. We discuss your current complaints and medical history to get the clearest possible picture of your situation. This conversation is essential in order to optimally tailor the treatment to you.

Diagnosis
After the intake, a careful physical examination follows. Because the cause of a complaint is often located in a different place in the body than where you feel the pain, I examine your entire body. I assess all systems in the body: craniosacral system (skull, jaw and nervous system), the visceral/organ system (mobility of the organs) and the musculoskeletal system (joints throughout the body).

Treatment
Each treatment is personal and focused on the underlying cause of your complaints. By tackling the problem at the source, we ensure a sustainable recovery. Depending on what your body needs, I combine osteopathy with physiotherapy techniques and dry needling. In addition, you will be given targeted exercises to support recovery and ensure that the complaints stay away.
Rates
You do not need a referral from a specialist. Most health insurers reimburse osteopathy partially or fully from the policy. In principle, treatments do not depend on your deductible. I advise you to check with your health insurer whether osteopathy is reimbursed. Zorgwijzer has created a handy overview of the reimbursements per health insurer.
